LAST CALL for Signed Thank You Cards!
As of July 1, 2015 we will be ending the Thank You card program for new Members/Renewals.
Thousands of cards and signatures later I think the lesson has been learned and I will be ending the Thank You card program once the remaining Highland Spring cards have been sent out.
I started out with a stack of around 150 'Portals' postcards that were left over from my visit to Rustycon 31 in Seattle. Rather than let them sit forever I decided to send them out as 'Thank You' cards to those who sign up, renew, or otherwise supports my work at the minimum level of $20.The front will be signed by me and the back will be signed by my family (myself, Jessie, Ian and Jason).
Writing out the address of each Member has been a great way for me and my family to connect with the people who are supporting my work. Having my boys see each name and address has given them a better appreciation for where their food, clothing and shelter comes from!
Thanks to everyone who participated!!
Now that I've sent out a couple hundred "Thank You" cards I think it would be fascinating to see where they ended up. It would be especially helpful to show my boys that there are real people at the other end of the line.
